What you'll do
- Executes preparation, filing and payment of all US Sales and Use tax returns for Henkel US entities and VAT returns for Henkel Canada entities
- Prepares tax audit support documentation for tax assessments, and ensuring all state notices from all jurisdictions are properly attended to
- Supports the Team Lead in ad-hoc projects, implementations of initiatives from head office and active management of tax risk
- Performs and monitors sales and use tax account reconciliation
- Project work and conducts process improvements to the current sales and use tax processes; Provides replies and does research for any tax related queries
- Ensures tax refund requests from the taxing jurisdictions and/or vendors are processed
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related courses
- Preferably with one (1) year experience in Finance or Taxation role
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Skill (Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
- Intermediate skills on SAP Basic Functionalities or any ERP system, Vertex Sales Tax, or any Tax Tool System
- Attention to details, team player, and analytical skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Amenable to work on a mid-shift schedule (12:00 NN to 9:00 PM) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
