About this position
Join us as a strategic and results-oriented Manager Industry Affairs to become an integral part of our dynamic team of Henkel Adhesive Technologies Innovation. In this impactful role, you'll play a crucial part in developing sustainability-driven political strategies and shaping the future of our industry.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute our sustainability-driven political strategy to drive markets and shape legislation
- Monitor and assess the impact of legislative trends and topics relevant for Henkel Adhesive Technologies, translating insights into impactful advocacy strategies
- Design our industry association strategy and foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sustainability, Product Development, Market Strategy, Public Affairs) to develop our Henkel Adhesive Technologies narrative
- Live your passion for strategy and regulatory topics and make an impact for the good of generations
- Shape your career with trainings, development programs and on-the-job opportunities
What makes you a good fit
- A university degree in political science, economics, chemistry, sustainability or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the Chemicals or Adhesives industry
- Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and execution skills
- Excel at building networks with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in an in-house consultancy or industry association is a plus
- Experienced communicator with excellent skills in English, advanced German skills are beneficial
