What you´ll do
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Demand Planning to lead our forecasting and demand planning functions. This role will be pivotal in shaping our supply chain strategy, improving forecast accuracy, and ensuring that our products are in the right place at the right time to meet consumer demand. As a senior leader, you'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment and deliver actionable insights. This role requires high-caliber interpersonal skills, background in demand planning/supply chain management and proven ability to navigate the various levels across teams.
- Develop and own the demand planning strategy across all product categories and channels (retail, e-commerce, wholesale, etc.).
- Lead and optimize the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, ensuring cross-functional alignment. Provide executive-level reporting and insights to support business planning and decision-making. Responsible for embedding a weekly S&OE and monthly S&OP meetings to align a consensus plan with Sales, Marketing and Finance
- Use statistical modeling, POS data, market trends, and promotional activity to create accurate forecasts at the SKU and regional level.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to incorporate new product launches, promotional plans, and market intelligence into the forecast. Support other go to market strategies through delivery of broader initiatives and projects
- Identify demand variability and proactively manage risk through scenario planning and contingency strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of demand planners and analysts
- Partner with supply planning and inventory teams to ensure high service levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Implement and continuously improve forecasting tools, systems, and processes (e.g., SAP IBP, Anaplan, NetSuite, etc.).
- Deliver monthly KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias, fill rate, and inventory turnover.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs to the forecast such as trade promotion plans, competitive impacts, new item launches, and cannibalization in the development and delivery of the monthly demand plan
- Work cross functionally with Logistics & customer excellence to help deliver an E2E improvement in our supply Chain
- Adopt and build advanced analytics in Power BI to eliminate manual excel analysis for daily, weekly report outs and ensure decisions are taken based on insights from analytics.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; MBA or APICS/IBF certification is a plus.
- Required 8-10 years of experience within Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply planning, Collaborative Planning Forecast Replenishment (CPFR), Allocation, Distribution, and/ or Inventory Management
- Experience in a CPG or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment is required.
- Strong leadership traits with proven track record of problem-solving skills and successfully managing a team
- Effective interpersonal skills, particularly in influencing across functional/geographic boundaries; Demonstrated success in building strong relationships internally and externally
- Confidence and credibility in presenting to senior executives and external partners
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of integrated business management processes. SAP / APO experience preferred. Strong MS Office skills, including fluency with advanced Excel skills, Power BI Preferred.

The salary for this role is $150,000.00 - $210,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
