YOUR ROLE

  • Process Facilitation
  • S&OP process include but not limit in Demand review, Supply review and Scenario analysis to close the gap.
  • As S&OP process leader, job scope is to make sure the Demand/supply reviews will address the latest trend in business and operation, and make sure the output from demand review and supply review will be incorporated into final S&OP meeting in order to drive final decision making on the gap close decision.
  • Align S&OP meeting objection, scope and calendar with stakeholders, Facilitate S&OP meeting, with agenda and appropriate participants.
  • Meeting preparation: Lead the development of S&OP standard deck/template with appropriate analysis and run a pre-S&OP meeting where demand and supply are compared and issues and scenarios are prepared.
  • Meeting facilitation: run the S&OP meeting, ensuring that all information is presented with structural data analysis, all stakeholders are engaged, information in the meeting can drive decisions to be made, and execution plans articulated.
  • Meeting follow-up. Ensure that decisions from the meeting are being executed in each function/department/team. Work with the executives on required escalation items.
  • Impact Assessment and Improvement
  • Track key metrics: track key metrics for the S&OP team to monitor the effectiveness of process decisions.
  • Report metrics back to S&OP process owner, executives, and the team to identify progress, root causes for correction or process improvement.
  • Improve the process: work with the S&OP process owner on continuous improvement and challenges with the process.
  • Continuously seek feedback from stakeholders on the process, meeting effectiveness, metrics and subsequent activities to identify issues to resolve.
  • Use metrics and analytical tools to understand areas for opportunity and change.
  • Cross Function Collaborations
  • Incorporate demand forecasts from different constituencies including sales, marketing, and product development and participate in offline meetings to create the consensus forecast.
  • Reconcile with the Business or Financial plans and understand the root causes for any gap that exists between top down and bottom-up plans.
  • Review RCCP and raw material plans, and articulate the solutions to meet demand forecast and business plan. 
  • Maintain the S&OP master data, aggregating to an appropriately high level and present in strategic and simple way.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Ideal candidate should have strategic thinking, understand end to end supply chain process.
  • Strong communication skill to talk to first line operations and senior management team.
  • Be able to hold cross function meetings and influencing people towards the S&OP targets.
  • Open minded and be able to drive changes.
  • Bachelor degree, major in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent, Fluent English and Certification in SCM, project management or general operations management through APICS will be certainly plus.
  • 5-10 years working experiences in High value industrial product sales / SKUs and complexity of networks like chemical, CP or process industry
  • Regional work scope experience with and leading teams of people and big project management.
