About this Position
- The Innovation Excellence Manager APAC is responsible for driving operational excellence, harmonization and standardization across Henkel’s Innovation Centers in APAC, with a primary focus on the ICS. The role oversees strategic initiatives in safety, compliance, infrastructure and digitalization, fostering collaboration among SBUs to ensure innovation teams receive high value support. Key priorities include change management, resource optimization and the development of governance models to enhance the ICS’s efficiency and effectiveness in alignment with Henkel’s innovation objectives.
What you´ll do
- Oversee stringent safety measures, chemical storage protocols, building clearances and regulatory compliance across all labs and shared spaces.
- Manage space utilization, equipment sharing and operational efficiency while driving harmonized documentation and processes across SBUs.
- Lead the rollout of 5S initiatives and act as a bridge between digital teams and SBUs to implement tools for knowledge management and operational improvements.
- Establish governance processes for equipment, projects and standards while securing resources, including CAPEX approvals, to meet compliance and project goals.
- Lead and develop the Innovation Excellence team, driving capability building, change initiatives and feedback-based improvements.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, ensure SBUs derive value from ICS operations and facilitate the exchange of best practices globally.
What makes you a good fit
- An MBA in Organizational Development, Innovation, Engineering Management or equivalent advanced degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in innovation, strategic, operational roles or change management roles.
- Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and manage complex projects in a multi-SBU environment.
- Demonstrated experience in driving change management, operational efficiency, digitalization, lab safety and standardization initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
- Familiarity with 5S methodologies, RACI frameworks and Innovation governance processes.
- Six Sigma certification Experience with Data Management and Digital Transformation.
- Fluent English language skills.
