The Sales Team Manager - Distribution MX is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of National Distribution Account Managers within the Packaging and Labeling business in Mexico. This role drives the commercial strategy for the distributor channel, focusing on market share growth, customer engagement, and the development of strategic distribution partnerships.
As a member of the Mexico Packaging and Labeling Sales Leadership Team, this position collaborates across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other key functions to deliver business results, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure commercial excellence throughout the distribution network.

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of National Distribution Account Managers across Mexico.
- Define and execute the distribution channel strategy to drive sustainable growth and increase market share within the Packaging and Labeling business.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key distribution partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop premium distribution partners to expand market reach and customer engagement.
- Establish performance goals and drive accountability across the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other internal stakeholders to optimize business performance and customer satisfaction.
- Support strategic business planning, territory management, and portfolio optimization efforts.
- Lead customer and partner negotiations while ensuring value-based selling practices.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Drive commercial excellence through effective sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
- Act as a key representative of the Mexico Packaging and Labeling Sales Leadership Team.
- Manage complex customer situations, resolve escalations, and support crisis management activities when required.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer-centricity.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency preferred.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, team management, and commercial strategy execution.
- Strong experience managing and developing distributor networks and channel partners.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Experience in B2B sales environments, preferably within Packaging, Labeling, Industrial, Chemical, or related industries.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in territory and portfolio management.
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into value-driven solutions.
- Strong business acumen with a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Experience within the Packaging and Labeling industry.
- Knowledge of distribution channel management and partner development strategies.
- Experience with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- Strong capabilities in social selling, prospecting, and opportunity development.
- Experience in proposal generation, deal structuring, objection handling, and sales call facilitation.
- Ability to analyze market dynamics and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.
